UBSX programme
Our Event will officially begin on Wednesday, October 14th at the wonderful location of Villa Mosca, a prestigious historic residence immersed in the natural stage of the Alghero seafront, where, starting at 9:30 a.m., the Ultrabiking Sardinia Crew will be ready to welcome all those registered for the fifth edition of UBSX.
Athletes will find the stand where to register, collect the event pack, and then they will be invited to check the mandatory safety kit and check the bike.
During the morning, Matteo, owner of Officine Fundoni Bike Shop, will have a stand in the gardens of Villa Mosca. Those who have participated in past editions have appreciated his professionalism and helpfulness. Matteo will be available at 9:30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to check on your bikes and address any last-minute mechanical issues. You can also find clothing, accessories, and spare parts at the stand.
Before going to the briefing our photographer Antonio will be waiting for you for the ritual photo in front of the UBSX DREAMERS panel !!
The technical briefing, scheduled for 3:00 pm, represents a key moment of the pre-Event day: after thanking all the partners who made the event possible, Giampy, the Event Director, will explain in detail the rules that characterize our discipline. Great attention will be paid to analyzing the critical issues of the route: isolation sections, supply management, night time planning ... nothing is left to chance !!
The pre-Event day represents a moment of sharing. There's a special atmosphere in the air, the ultracycler unsupported community from all over Europe gathers together: it's time to reconnect with old friends, make new acquaintances, and exchange opinions on past experiences and upcoming adventures.
After the briefing, the traditional welcome aperitif on the panoramic sea-view terrace of Villa Mosca will conclude the afternoon: the athletes will greet each other to meet for the pre-Event dinner.
